Welcome to The SJ blog (cue fireworks and bottle popping)! It's been a year of pivot, change, learning and growing, and ultimately figuring out what the "new normal" is personally and in our community. I spent the first part of the year transitioning out of Aquarius and into a new location, launching a new e-com website, educating consumers and marketing our new brand name, and mentally coming out of 2020 and putting my game face back on. Also learning and riding the ebb and flow of a new retail business. Retail 11 years ago when I first opened Aquarius is not what it is today. It's been a learning curve and will continue to be! That's life right? Keeping us on our toes. That being said, Fall is going to be great with all that I've been cultivating, brainstorming, and hammering out as far as events, product, and content.

Here is just a sneak peek of what The SJ is up to this Fall so let's pull out our real clothes (hey I still love sweatpants so no judgment if they're still your uniform), mark our calendars, and oogle over until it arrives to shop in store and online!

SAVE THE DATE! Our opening party in our new location in                       King William/Southtown will be Sept 23rd! 5:30-8pm come toast, sip, and shop!

So many beautiful entertaining lines are arriving this Fall! Because after 2020, we     all appreciate a bit more a beautiful table and amazing company around it!

We've got plenty of pop ups happening in our retail airstream! Betsy will be popping up in Alamo Heights, Southtown, and more locations...

Including Round Top in October!

Can.not.wait for the puffer bag collection from Clare Vivier to arrive! Fall will be a        puffer season for me :)

I love a cocktail! Yes I do. More when my husband makes it and we enjoy on our back porch. It's the moments in life that matter and it's hard to beat sharing a cocktail with a loved one over good freaking music. Why not elevate the experience with beautiful glassware? Our Sir/Madaam glassware is inspired by mid century cocktail glass design of the 60's and 70's with beautiful color arches inspired by the archways of Italy. Coupe and tulip styles in store now that I adore, but we have an old fashion style and new colors coming this Fall so cheers!

Wishing you well!
